"WOODPUSSY- A live experience that goes to levels that exceed performance art. Angry and extreme lyrics will force you to listen. These cursed freaks from the Okies can't keep their clothes on!"
BAD WOODPUSSY, BAD WOODPUSSY
Where does the Gig-Going Being take a conservative friend out on a Saturday night? Why, to see Woodpussy at (the now-defunct) Club Lingerie, natch. Opening act Transistor Sisters have a rock-country vibe that would have made them perfect for Slash Records in their early days. They've got cool male-female vocal harmonies with some tricky vocal wordplay. Said friend was extremely pleased until the arrival of Woodpussy, whose triple-drum pounding sends even the most calloused eardrums (such as those of the Being) running for the shelter of plugs. Overall chaos began to unfold, including drummers slam-dancing into the crowd and stripping down to g-strings.
